Former SARS boss (South African Revenue Services) Tom Moyane has again lost his bid to appeal his sacking as commissioner. Yesterday the constitutional court dismissed Tom Moyane’s application for leave to appeal his dismissal. Mr Moyane and his legal team are however determined and clearly showing signs of not giving up on the mission to get back his job as SARS commissioner. After yesterday’s blow, Tom Moyane and his legal team hinted that they will approach the high court.
For those that have been living under a rock somewhere, Tom Moyane has been in and out of court since his dismissal as commissioner challenging the decision taken by President Cyril Ramaphosa of relieving him as boss. He claims his dismissal was unfairly conducted. To make matters more interesting, Tom Moyane has been named as one of the people that are going to cross examine Former Finance Minister, current Public Enterprise Minister Pravin Gordhan at the State capture commission come 13th of next month… In Casper Nyovest’s words Kusezoba LIT!
