Fitness Fun People hosted its third annual Fitness Fun Day at the Soweto Theatre, Jabulani where fitness fanatics participated in a four-hour aerobic and dance marathon.
A different instructor took charge every 30 minutes, the fitness styles ranged from High/Low, Box, High Impact, Step, Zumba and African Dance ??? so, there???s a style for everyone! This year we included capoeira.
The theme for the 2017 Fitness Fun Day is Exercise & Socialise ??? getting fitness enthusiasts to spend time together, taking this opportunity to network. The aim is to use this platform to raise awareness about increasing the amount of physical activity and creating a space for dialogue about the importance of health.

Local celebrities participated in the event to show support to fitness enthusiasts, these included Mamelodi Sundowns and Bafana Bafana soccer player Rivaldo Coetzee, Miss Sundows Sharon Khumalo, socilalite and Miss SA Finalist Kerusha Govender and TV Presenter from SABC Shift Kamo Mbombe. There were lots of prizes that were won including a signed Mamelodi Sundowns soccer jersey by Rivaldo.
