This weekend we used taxify for the first time, at all three different incidences the rides were pleasant and reasonably priced. However, we do not intend to utilise such commodities unless we’re seriously inconvenienced. And Saturday’s heavy winds ruined our DStv connection (the decoder is buggered, and not insured) we spent the past ??two days watching DVD’s. Nonetheless ??it was a good relaxing long weekend.
Let’s look at stories that caught our attention;
Sunday Sun head lined “Wheels come off for Somizi” Well the head line is relating to his tax woes. Remember how he made fun of the receiver when the news of him owing tax-man surfaced? According to SS those woes were true, that Somizi Mhlongo had to sell his BMW i8 in order to pay the alleged R2.2 million owed to sars.
Is it us or people have made themselves accustomed to this??deny deny deny (attitude)??until they have proof then we will keep quiet. The ANC is to blame for such.
The estranged wife of the fallen star known as Zola 7 (real name Bonginkosi Dlamini) speaks out of their marriage after 16 years. Sibongile Nkabinde says Zola 7 Married her to dump her at his mother’s home in Dobsonvile, Soweto while he went to stay in Melville. She reports to the people’s paper that she would visit him weekends for sex and sometimes once a month.
“The marriage damaged me in more ways that you could imagine… I regret loving that man especially because I was warned about him. Funny how I kept hoping things would change“
This last line right here “I kept hoping things would change” is what we would never understand about humans. When someone does you wrong over and over especially after being warned. Cut off your losses. We should learn to love ourselves more.
The paper speaks about Babalwa Mneno for being a striptease at a strip-club. According to the paper Babalwa denies being a stripper at the club but admits she makes appearances but does not work there.
Who cares if Babz strips to make extra money, it’s her life she must just own up to it… should people probe.
SS reports Lebo M’s family is unhappy that Zoe Mthiyane did not pitch at Lebo M’s father’s funeral the past weekend. They’re saying it was the fathers wish for the family to be united again. It seems to us that Lebo M’s family is expecting a lot from their former daughter-in-law. *yawn*
We also bought i-Drum Magazine, firstly we didn’t know it was that expensive R21 bucks is a lot of money, we thought the mag was ranging around R15 bucks. No wonder it does not make the list of best sellers, Move Magazine always do. Move retails at R11, quantity versus quality ??we conclude.
Back to the story at hand, we bought this edition because of the cover’s tag “Thembisa Mdoda, up close and personal…” We rushed home to take off the fancy plastic cover. Let’s just say we were disappointed. We were hoping Thembisa was going to talk about the lie she fed poor Atandwa Kani of him fathering her twins. It’s really sad that we rather dance around the truth as long as it makes us happy. I remember how Thembisa and her sister Anele ganged-up on Atandwa knowing fully well the truth. Anele (as well as Thembisa but Anele was more vocal) knew the father to the twins who happen to be one of her best friends, a very married Andile Nodada. Nxa! Don’t people get tired of lying?
Preparation, preparation, preparation!
Anyways Thembisa spoke about her new love, the twins as being her best supporters, a bit about the “ugly divorce from actor Atandwa Kani” and why she is leaving Our Perfect Wedding… Get the Magazine, should you be interested to read more on this.
The second mini story is on the Gumbi’s divorce… stale news.
We end things off with Arthur Mafokate’s story in Sunday World.
Read part 1.
Have yourselves a good short week!
