A nice quiet weekend we had. We missed David Tlale’s showcasing at the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week on Friday. It was just too cold for us to be out, the show was scheduled for 21:30, We were in bed by 20:30 so nje being cool and keeping up was not an option for us. Our friends that did attend the show though say, it was spectacular, as expected, it’s David Tlale darling. Tlale show was not the only thing we missed this weekend, The CellC Polo, we missed that too. Well there we were denied access because of something we said last year *rolls eyes* people don’t want to grow up maar we’re fine we will get you images.
What else, uhmm… Mduduzi Manana’s resignation from being DM made headlines. Well if you missed it, over the weekend Mduduzi Manana voluntarily stepped down as Deputy Minister of Higher Education. We guess u-brother’s was feeling the pressure. We can tell you this for nothing Mduduzi Manana will be good without the Deputy Minister position.
Last week we reported on Arthur Mafokate’s alleged assault case to former girlfriend Busisiwe “Cici” Thwala and this Friday Sunday World reported that lawyers to Cici demanded that Arthur be further charged with negligence and reckless driving. Jonga these lawyers don’t play ‘ey. It’s funny that Arthur is alleged with such as he is raising daughters in his household. We wondered what does he say to his girls about these allegations. It is also rumoured that Queen his other star ex girl friend (mother to one the daughters Arthur has under his care) left him because of the physical abuse she was suffering but opted to pack her bags and never looked back instead of pressing charges… we sometimes feel this is the best you can do but pressing charges we support as well. Perpetrators must rot in jail, that’s the only way they will be rehabilitated. From Mduduzi Manana, Marks Maponyane, Arthur Mafokate, your brother, our uncles, his father like everyone guilty maarn must face jail time not bail, jail.
Congratulations Are so in order for Pearl Thusi. She was announced as the official face of Cape Town International Film Festival. Bravo bravo bravo bravo!!!
Sunday World also reports that “player” Nick Matlala will face more charges for allegedly gifting his girlfriend with a stolen Mercedes Benz. What a cheapskate!
Ending things on a high, we learned EFF National spokesperson and Member of Parliament Mbuyiseni Quinton Ndlozi passed (received) his PHD in Politics (Doctor Of Philosophy in Politics) under University Of Witwatersrand. We’re shivering as we write this. It indeed seems like our country might be in good hands afterall.
That’s it from us, Have a great week ahead!
Zeeba & Team.
